48-year-old Shpetim Sefa, who was arrested on August 14 for removing the Turkish flag from the observation tower in Durrës, has been released after 21 days in custody.

He had posted on his social network the video where he appeared to have climbed the guard tower on the beach of Lalzi Bay, removed the flag and then thrown it into the sea.

After his release, Ylli Manjani also reacted, who calls the political police, and that the entire squad of policemen and their leaders who ordered that arrest should be brought under immediate criminal responsibility!

“Zotëria që u arrestua për atë muhabetin e leckës me ngjyra flamuri turk në plazh, qënka liruar dhe pa asnjë akuzë penale.

Normalisht nuk kishte si të akuzohej për atë budallëk. Arrestimi i tij ishte fund e krye I PALIGJSHËM.

Më vjen mirë që Gjykata e Apelit Durrës e ka konstatuar këtë PALIGJSHMËRI. Mesaduket gjykata e faktit atje nuk e ka pavarësinë e duhur nga Policia...!!

Mesa kuptoj nga kjo sorollatje polici-Prokurori-Gjykatë e shkallës së parë-Gjykatë Apeli, personi është mbajtur në paraburgim për 21 ditë pa faj e pa shkelur asnjë ligj të shtetit!

21 ditë paraburgim për një leckë me ngjyrë që policia politike e quajti flamur ceremonial! Kulmi!

E gjithë toga e policëve dhe drejtuesit e tyre aë urdhëruan atë arrestim duheshin marrë nën përgjegjësi penale të menjëhershme! Por kjo funksionon vetëm në shtetet demokratike.

May the gentleman who suffered for a brave gesture in the end enjoy his innocence!
