In an interview for "Euronews Albania", Tafaj hinted that the coach could be Italian. According to him, it is not yet the right moment for an Albanian coach to take over the leadership of the National Team.

"We will have the coach very soon, the name of the coach will come out in a few days, it will be announced before the New Year, I believe, so was the president's promise. It could be the line of the Italians because they are closer to our football.
