Ernest Muçi  nuk u përfshi në listën e Kombëtares së Shqipërisë për dy ndeshjet e radhës në Ligën e  Kombeve, me Izraelin dhe Islandën. Pas shqetësimeve të Myrto Uzunit, Federata Shqiptare e Futbollit bëri me dije se do të grumbullohej  Muçi, megjithatë ai nuk mund të bashkohej me skuadrën, pasi ishte i dëmtuar.

Sulmuesi u bë protagonist duke shënuar në fitoren 3-0 të Legias së Varshavës ndaj Stal Rzeszov. 21-vjeçari shënoi golin që zhbllokoi ndeshjen, duke i hapur udhë fitores së skuadrës nga Varshava dhe duke treguar se jo vetëm që nuk është i dëmtuar, por është duke kaluar një moment të mirë, pasi realizoi nje gol fantastik.

Muçi këtë edicion me Legian është aktivizuar në 10 ndeshje në kampionat, duke shënuar 2 gola e duke dhënë 3 asiste, ndërsa me skuadrën e parë kuqezi numëron vetëm një ndeshje, ndaj Andorrës në kualifikueset e kampionatit botëror, ku luajti për 34 minuta.
