The 54-year-old Italian with the initials M. A tried to bring 24,070 euros into Albania from the Port of Durrës, which he had hidden in the "Porsche Cayenne" type vehicle.

Therefore, the 54-year-old has started investigations.

The verifications showed that the vehicle driven by this citizen was wanted by Interpol Bern.

Police Notification:

Hiding in the "Porsche Cayenne" type vehicle, wanted by Interpol Bern, 24,070 euros to bring to Albania, without declaring it, the Italian citizen is being prosecuted.

The vehicle and the amount of euros are seized.

Following the intensive checks that are being carried out with contemporary methods, at the border crossing point Port, Durrës, in order to prevent, detect and attack illegalities at the border, the services of the Border Police, at the entrance of Albania, moved to the second line, for detailed control, the "Porsche Cayenne" type vehicle, driven by the Italian citizen MA.

The verifications showed that the vehicle driven by this citizen was wanted by Interpol Bern, Switzerland, while 24,070 euros were found hidden in the vehicle, which the MA citizen intended to pass without declaring compliance with the law in force.

Following the procedural actions for these illegalities, the crime investigation specialists of DVKM Durrës referred the materials to the Prosecutor's Office, where the proceedings began in free status for the Italian citizen MA, 54 years old. Also, the vehicle and the amount of euros were seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were passed to the Prosecution at the Court of First Instance of the Durrës General Jurisdiction, for further actions, for the criminal offenses "Trafficking of motor vehicles" and "Failure to declare cash and valuables at the border". /CNA
