The fire is reactivated in the Ternova forest massif, the army forces intervene

The fire activated since Sunday in the forest massif of Tërnova, in Bulqiza Municipality, brought under control on Monday, was reactivated at noon today. The fires have been reactivated, helped by the blowing wind. So far, it is reported that there are about 10 ha of pine trees that have burned.

It is known that the flames are directed towards the green crown of Black Lake, the only intact crown in this area. About 60 forces and tools of the Forestry Service, the Fire Service and the Bulqiza municipal apparatus have gone to the field again to extinguish the fire.

They were joined by about 100 army forces from Burreli and Tirana, who have been fighting the flames for three days. As a result, it became possible to extinguish 2 fires to protect the crown of the Black Lake from the ground. Work continues with concentrated strikes to extinguish the other 2 outbreaks that are still active.
