Shocking crime in Italy / Missing 5-year-old girl found in Catania  

The lifeless body of Elena del Pozzo, a 5-year-old girl who went missing in Catania on Monday, has been found.

Italian media report that the mother of the little girl found the body of the child, after "pressure exerted during the interrogation" by the investigators.

The Carabinieri of Catania went to the scene, a farmland a few hundred meters away from the house where the woman lived with her ex-partner, the girl's father.

The girl's father and mother had not been together for some time.  

Meanwhile, investigations are continuing by the science department.
