Doctor Ilir Alimehmeti has shared a positive news for all Albanian citizens.

Emphasizing that the peak of the pandemic wave has passed a week ago, the doctor announces that today is the first day that active cases have decreased during the BA.5 wave.

Also, Alimehmeti shows that for weeks the number of hospitalized patients continues to remain low.

The first day that active (official) cases fall during the BA.5 wave! Yesterday 9,725 active patients. Yesterday 9,826 active patients Meanwhile, those admitted to the hospital remain for weeks at a stable low level (30 admitted). 30 / 9.725 = 0.3% of active cases were hospitalized (similar to other viruses).
