A serious accident was registered in the Topojan administrative unit of Kukës.

The accident is thought to have happened on the road between the villages of Topojan and Breki.

A vehicle slid for about 30 meters due to the humidity and fell into the abyss.

The driver of the vehicle with the initials AI received serious injuries and unfortunately did not manage to survive his injuries. The minor daughter of the driver was also injured.

"Around 09:20, in the place called "Ura e Topojani", citizen AI, 46 years old, driving a "Mitsubishi" type vehicle, allegedly lost control and as a result the vehicle went off the road.

Due to the injuries, citizen AI lost his life.

The minor daughter of citizen AI, a passenger in the vehicle, was also injured in the accident, and her life is out of danger.

The investigative group is working to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police announced./ CNA
