In a statement to the media after leaving SPAK, the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, spoke again about the Constitutional Court's decision on his appeal against house arrest.

Berisha accused the Court of being “a section of the Socialist Party,” adding that the case was handled with great delay. According to him, the court declared the decision unconstitutional but did not annul it. He emphasized that the decision was shameful.

"The Constitutional Court is a section of the Socialist Party. The Constitutional Court dealt with that case after 8 months of submission, while in the case of officials it should be dealt with after two or three weeks. The court declared the decision against me unconstitutional, but did not repeal it. That decision still has consequences today. It did not repeal it by claiming that it is no longer in force, but its consequences are in force. The decision is shameful", said Berisha. /CNA
