Foreign Minister Elisa Spiropali has shared on social media footage from her official visit to Kiev, Ukraine. Spiropali says that during this visit she saw firsthand the fatigue of Ukrainian citizens from the war.

Among other things, the minister further announced that she was honored by President Volodymyr Zelensky with the High Order of Princess Olga, Class 1.

In Kiev, which faces barbaric attacks every day in the midst of this brutal winter, during my official visit to Ukraine I saw up close the fatigue in the bodies and souls of the people. I saw the faces of fighters who bear visible and invisible wounds. Families who live with deprivation. Parents who live with fear every day. Children who grow up faster than their age.

Amidst this pain and unyielding resistance, I was honored by President Volodymyr Zelensky with the High Order of Princess Olga, 1st Class.

This honor and unforgettable memory increase my humility and responsibility. To speak, to act and to stand every day in service of my country and the values ??that unite us. / CNA
