The leader of the "Bashkë" Movement, Arlind Qori, spoke in a television studio about Prime Minister Rama's visit to Israel. Qori said that referring to the Rome Statute, ratified in 2023, if Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu comes to Albania, he should be arrested.

This is because the Israeli prime minister is wanted by the International Criminal Court for crimes against humanity and war crimes.

Regarding Rama's visit to Israel, Qori said that Rama is ready to do everything to benefit from world politics.

Qori described Rama's visit to Israel as a disgrace for Albania and Albanians, as with this visit he did not respect our country's obligations based on international law.

“ Netanyahu is under indictment by the International Court of Justice for genocide and many human rights organizations, even in Israel, have concluded that Netanyahu’s government and military apparatus committed genocide in Gaza. Netanyahu is also wanted by the International Criminal Court, for war crimes and crimes against humanity. If in the first dimension Albania has a moral obligation to stand by the victims and oppressed, in the second aspect it also has some legal obligations. In 2003, the Albanian Parliament ratified the Rome Statute, which recognizes the jurisdiction of the Court. If Netanyahu comes to Albania, he should surrender before this court.

Between these two aspects, the obligation by international law and Rama's whims to come up with a character that few world leaders come up with, Albania had to maintain its reputation.

The reason why Rama is doing this, I believe, is mainly related to the fear he has of the new justice institutions, of the accusations of corruption. He is ready to do anything in the international arena, to gain some influence from the big world politics. I can't find any other reason why the Prime Minister of Albania meets with a character who is not just any criminal, but is accused by the International Criminal Court, whose jurisdiction he recognizes. He does not even respect the obligations that Albania has based on international law.
