Prime Minister Edi Rama, in a meeting this Thursday with the rectors of the country's universities, announced that in addition to the university campus in Tirana, a campus will also be built in Durrës.

In his speech, Rama emphasized that this new campus will also accommodate students from Tirana.

"We have two campuses, the Tirana campus, we have opened the process for the Aleksandër Moisiu University campus. There is a potential to create a student residence infrastructure, considering the train that will be in operation soon, it will be easy for students in Tirana to have the opportunity to be accommodated in Durrës. We will build a very good student complex in order to help solve a big problem that students have due to the high rent prices in Tirana. We are convinced that we are in a new moment of change for higher education, but unlike the first change, we now have a base, experience.
