VanHorn's message: Economic security, especially important for public

US Chargé d'Affaires in Tirana, Nancy VanHorn, shared an important message for Albania today.

In her speech at an event to promote American communications technology, VanHorn emphasized that economic security is particularly important for public safety and critical infrastructure, as the country's technology directly impacts sustainability, sovereignty, and national security.

"As President Trump has said, 'economic security is national security.' This principle is especially important in public safety and critical infrastructure, where the technology countries choose directly impacts the sustainability, sovereignty, and safety of citizens," VanHorn said./CNA
