The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, declared today that the DP and the opposition are facing the greatest test of their existence.

In his speech to the democrats of the Porcelani area, Berisha focused on the confrontation with the socialist government, which he described as a dictatorship of gangs.

According to Berisha, this government has brought more damage to Albanians than anything else.

"I come to you today at an extremely special moment for the DP, the opposition, but also for the country. The DP and the opposition are facing the greatest test in their entire existence. Before the test of fulfilling the mission; saving Albania and Albanians from a regime that is dictatorial of the authoritarian type, which suppresses pluralism. If you are determined, you can remain undefeated. In both cases, power is in the hands of one man. The worst of all forms of dictatorship is the dictatorship of gangs because it has no rules. It does not respect any norms and no standards. This is hopeless and merciless and drives people away from Albania like nothing else," said Berisha./ CNA
