"We need alternatives"/ Agron Shehaj: Rama did not leave with unity

The leader of the Mundësia party, Agron Shehaj, has emphasized that Prime Minister Edi Rama will not leave power simply through a party merger, underlining the need for a clear and credible alternative for citizens.

Invited to the show Opinion, Shehaj emphasized that in the last elections, traditional parties lost around 250 thousand votes, while new parties gained around 130 thousand votes, indicating a lack of credibility of existing structures and an expectation for change from citizens.

"We are talking about cooperation when we have lacked cooperation and this is the reason why Rama is still in power. Rama must go as soon as possible."

This has been the case for years. We need to go beyond this, we need to talk about an alternative that is credible and concrete and tangible.

In the last elections, the traditional parties lost 1/3 of the votes. They lost 250 thousand votes. They realized that they lacked credibility. The new parties received 130 thousand votes.

"The new parties did not vote to sit with the old parties because they believed in change. We must talk about alternatives to gain the trust of the citizens. Rama did not leave with unity," said Agron Shehaj./ CNA
