Democratic Party MP Belind Këlliçi, at a meeting held with Democrats at the DP headquarters, spoke about the sentencing of Judge Irena Gjoka.

Këlliçi said that Gjoka is not a judge but a soldier of Rama who has continuously attacked the opposition. Democrati stated that Judge Gjoka unjustly isolated Sali Berisha for 333 days.

Këlliçi further stated that the attacks succeeded in stopping the opposition for a moment.

The MP also touched on the May 11 elections, which he called an electoral farce. Këlliçi said that despite the electoral farce, half a million Albanians trusted the Democratic Party.

Focusing on the January 24 protest, Këlliçi called it a very decisive day, which marks the start of a very big challenge. The MP said that the fight is for the democrats, but also for the honest socialists.

"You remember well the battle of the DP for 20 months in a row to denounce the blow that was being inflicted on the opposition permanently not by a judge, but by a soldier of Rama. This unworthy judge, this suicide bomber is on duty only to hit the opposition. This judge unjustly isolated Sali Berisha for 333 days. Today we are being given justice. They managed to ban the Democratic Party for a moment. And in an electoral farce like May 11, half a million Albanians trusted us, courageous people who once again demanded change.

We have a very big challenge, to lead this battle. January 24th is a very decisive day.
