Interpol has extradited a 31-year-old man who was declared an internationally wanted person from Spain.

JK, 31, is accused by SPAK of corrupting police officers and stealing oil from a ship in the port of Durres.

The Special Court imposed the security measure "Arrest in prison" on him in February of this year, on charges of corruption, theft and smuggling.

Interpol Tirana/The international police operation, codenamed "The Wanted", continues.

Accused by SPAK that in February 2025, he corrupted police officers and stole, in collaboration with other citizens, 200,000 liters of oil from a ship anchored in the port of Durrës, the 31-year-old is being extradited from Spain.

As a result of the coordination of operational actions between specialists from Interpol Tirana and their counterparts from Interpol Madrid, the procedure for the extradition from Spain to Albania of the internationally wanted Albanian citizen, JK, 31 years old, was finalized within the framework of the "The Wanted" operation.

In February 2025, the Criminal Court of Kosovo assigned the security measure "Arrest in prison" for the criminal offenses "Active corruption of persons exercising public functions", "Smuggling of goods for which excise duty is paid or with full or partial suspension of customs or excise duties" and "Theft", committed in collaboration.
