80 thousand lek stolen from a market in Himara/ 33-year-old man with two

A 33-year-old man, the suspected perpetrator of a theft at a market in "Livadh" in Himara, has been arrested and detained. 

The citizen with dual identities is accused of the criminal offenses of "Theft", "Manufacture, possession or sale of cold weapons" and "Manufacture and sale of narcotics".

Police Announcement:

Thanks to the rapid investigative actions carried out by the Crime Investigation specialists at the Himara Police Station, following the actions to crack down on crimes against property, it was possible to capture and detain the citizen who was declared wanted, as the suspected perpetrator of several theft cases in Himara, specifically:

M. B, alias M. Ç., 33 years old, resident of Elbasan, for the criminal offenses of "Theft", "Manufacture, possession or sale of cold weapons" and "Manufacture and sale of narcotics".

The investigative actions resulted in this citizen, during the months of September and October 2025, committing several thefts in a food market, in the "Livadh" neighborhood, Himara, where an amount of 800,000 lek and food products worth about 1,000,000 lek were stolen.

During the search at the location where this citizen was staying, a quantity of the narcotic substance cannabis sativa, 1 cutting tool, a pair of gloves and clothing used during the thefts were found and seized as material evidence.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Vlora, for further action . /CNA
