They were selling drugs in Berat/ One person arrested, 31-year-old prosecuted

Berat police have arrested one person and prosecuted another for selling narcotics.

43-year-old JL was arrested after a quantity of cannabis and money obtained from the sale of narcotics were found in his apartment.

Meanwhile, 31-year-old Xh. M. was criminally prosecuted, accused of the same activity as the arrested person. During the search, a quantity of cannabis was found in his vehicle.

Berat/As a result of a months-long investigation, with proactive methods, the police anti-drug operation, codenamed "Procedimi", is being finalized.

The criminal activity of 2 citizens, who repeatedly sold narcotics in the territory of the Berat district, is documented.

A 43-year-old man was arrested, after a quantity of cannabis and money obtained from this criminal activity were found in his apartment.

Under investigation for the same activity, a 31-year-old.

As a result of investigations conducted for several months, in coordination with the Berat Prosecutor's Office, with the objective of identifying and bringing to criminal responsibility citizens implicated in criminal activities in the field of narcotics, the services of the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the services of the Special Operational Force, finalized the "Procedure" operation.

As part of the operation, citizen JL, 43 years old, was arrested and citizen Xh. M., 31 years old, both residents of Berat, was released on bail, after investigations revealed that they had repeatedly sold doses of Cannabis in the territory of the Berat district.

During the search of the arrested person's apartment, quantities of Cannabis (divided into doses ready for sale) and amounts of money suspected to have been gained from the sale of the doses were found.

A search of the vehicle driven by the defendant revealed a quantity of cannabis.

The procedural materials were referred to the Berat Prosecutor's Office for further action.
