Blackmailed and took 5 thousand euros from a citizen / 44-year-old woman

The Saranda Blues have arrested a 44-year-old woman after she blackmailed another citizen on social media.

ZH had taken the sum of 5,000 euros from a 39-year-old woman from Saranda and continued to threaten her to take another 50,000 euros.

 

Police Announcement:

"He blackmailed and threatened a citizen on social media, took 5,000 euros from her and demanded another 50,000 euros, the 44-year-old woman is in custody."

Following the investigative actions, regarding the report of a citizen, who had stated that a sum of money had been taken from her through blackmail and threats, specialists of the Section for the Investigation of Crimes against Property, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Saranda, made it possible to detain the suspected perpetrator, citizen:

ZH, 44 years old, resident of Durrës, for the criminal offense of "Extortion by threat or violence for the provision of property".

This citizen is suspected of having, through blackmail and threats on social media, taken the sum of 5,000 euros from a 39-year-old woman from Saranda and continued to threaten her to take another 50,000 euros.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Saranda, for further action."/ CNA
