A 27-year-old man was arrested in Berat for possessing narcotics. The citizen A.Sh, a resident of Vlora, was placed in handcuffs.

During the search of his apartment, police found and seized cocaine, cannabis, and other illegal substances.

Specifically, the police have seized 1 kilogram and 530 grams of cocaine, 7.5 kilograms of cannabis, electronic scales, combat ammunition, an electroshock device and a mobile phone.

Berat/A case of criminal activity in the field of narcotics is cracked.

The police anti-drug operation codenamed "Alfa" is finalized after a several-month investigation, followed by special methods.

The operation was carried out by specialists for Narcotics Investigation and the Special Operational Force at the Berat DVP, in cooperation with the services of the Vlora DVP, under the direction of the Berat Prosecution Office.

A 27-year-old man was arrested for possessing cocaine and cannabis sativa (a portion divided into doses) with the intent to sell.

1 kilogram and 530 grams of cocaine, 7.5 kilograms of cannabis, electronic scales, combat ammunition, an electric shocker and a mobile phone were seized.

After an investigation conducted using special methods, specialists from the Narcotics Investigation Section, in cooperation with the Special Operational Force and the Vlora DVP services, finalized the "Alfa" operation, as a result of which citizen A. Sh., 27 years old, resident of Vlora, was arrested in flagrante delicto.

During the search of his apartment, the Police services found and seized cocaine, cannabis and other illegal substances.

Investigations are ongoing to fully document this criminal activity and to identify other citizens involved in this activity.

The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction in Berat, for further action. /CNA
