The police have finalized the eighth phase of the "Clean Territory" mega-operation.

According to the police announcement, it is reported that 685 cannabis sativa plants cultivated on the ground were found and destroyed in the villages of Kuçaj, Zeze and Verjon.

The Blues have identified and wanted AD, 53 years old, suspected author of 250 cannabis sativa seedlings that were found cultivated near his apartment.

"In this mega-operation, 100 police officers of the Krujë Police Station and the Special Operational Force of the DVP Durrës, 6 groups of FNSH Tirana and 5 drones.

In the villages of Kuçaj, Zeze and Verjon, 685 cannabis sativa plants cultivated on the ground were found and destroyed.

One of the suspected perpetrators of this cultivation case is identified and declared wanted. Work continues to identify and arrest other citizens involved in this criminal activity.

During the previous 7 phases of this mega-operation, 6347 seedlings and narcotic plants of cannabis sativa, cultivated in the ground and in cubes, have been found and destroyed.

The services of the Krujë Police Station, those of the Special Operational Force of the DVP Durrës and 6 groups of the FNSH Tirana, assisted by drones, have carried out detailed checks in the territories of the villages of Kuçaj, Zeze and Verjon, of the Nikël, Krujë administrative unit.

As a result of the controls, during the eighth phase of the anti-cannabis police mega-operation coded "Clean Territory", 685 seedlings and suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were found cultivated. Suspected narcotic saplings and plants were destroyed by burning, while a small part of them was seized as material evidence.

The structures of the Krujë Police Station have identified and declared wanted the citizen AD, 53 years old, resident of the village of Zeze, suspected author of 250 cannabis sativa seedlings that were found cultivated near his apartment.

In cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, investigative actions continue for the identification and capture of the other author(s) of this criminal activity.
