The police have issued an official statement regarding the shooting in Durrës. According to the police, a 37-year-old man fired a gun into the air. This occurred during a conflict between several people.
"Immediately after the notification, at around 08:30, that in neighborhood no. 15, it is suspected that during a conflict for weak motives, citizen KK, 37 years old, had hit citizens B. Xh., 66 years old and A. Xh., 61 years old (cousins) with hard objects, the services of the Durrës Police Commissariat organized the work to capture the perpetrator, as well as to clarify the circumstances.
As a result of rapid operational actions, the arrest in flagrante delicto of citizen KK was made possible.
The 37-year-old is also suspected of firing a gun into the air during the conflict. The gun was found and seized as evidence.
Meanwhile, the 2 injured are receiving medical assistance and are out of danger.
"The procedural materials will be referred to the Durrës Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police statement said./ CNA
