Following the successive operations and mega-operations developed by the structures of the Shkodra Local Police Directorate and the police stations under it, with a focus on preventing, identifying and striking at the initial stage, attempts to cultivate narcotic plants, by the services of At the Shkodër Police Station, in cooperation with the Operational Force of the DVP Shkodër, the third phase of the anti-cannabis police mega-operation coded "Clean Alps" has been finalized.

Based on the informational intelligence and as a result of the operational plan for the control of the territory and areas at risk for the cultivation of narcotic plants, in the administrative units of Pult and Postribe, the Police services have controlled 191 mountainous areas and other areas at risk.

During inspections in the territory of the village of Gjuran, administrative unit Pult, and in the territory of the village of Vilzë, administrative unit Postribë, 1300 cannabis sativa seedlings were found cultivated in the ground and another 137 seedlings were found in cubes, ready to be cultivated on the ground. The narcotic saplings were destroyed by burning, while a small part of them was seized as material evidence.

Thanks to the quick operational actions, based on the information provided, the Police services have made it possible to identify 4 citizens as the main suspected authors of these attempts to cultivate narcotic seedlings. 2 of these citizens have been put in handcuffs and 2 others have been declared wanted, specifically:

- citizens ML, 43 years old, resident of the village of Limsh and BF, 53 years old, resident of the village of Vilzë, suspected perpetrators of cultivating 350 seedlings on the ground and 137 seedlings in cubes, were arrested in the act;

- the citizens LF and PF (father and son) were declared wanted, as 950 seedlings cultivated in the ground were found in the territory of their old residence.

The Crime Investigation Specialists of the Shkodër Police Station, in cooperation with the Prosecutor's Office, continue the in-depth investigations for the identification and capture of other citizens implicated in this criminal activity.
