In the children's home "Vangjel Pulla" in Saranda, 3 children were abused.

The mother of the children reported the sexual abuse against her minor son at police station no. 3. She told "Sot" in Euronews Albania that she had taken her children on vacation and they had confessed to them about the abuse that was done to them in the orphanage.

While bathing her son, the youngest of the children, he told through tears that he was tortured, beaten, smeared with toothpaste and gagged with a pillow. According to him, both friends and educators locked him in the closet and beat him.

The girls, older, told the same stories of torture. They have shown that the boys of the orphanage used banal words and insulted them, while they also exercised physical violence./Euronews
