Gulf countries report more attacks at night

As the US and Israel continue airstrikes on Iran, with Israel also striking Lebanon, apparent retaliatory attacks from Iran continue to be intercepted by Gulf states.

Saudi Arabia has intercepted a ballistic missile and five drones overnight.

The Kuwaiti military has successfully intercepted and shot down six drones.

Bahrain sounded warning sirens and urged residents to take shelter after a 29-year-old woman was killed in an attack in the Bahraini capital, Manama, late Monday.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Ministry of Defense announced early Tuesday that it was continuing to intercept missile and drone threats from Iran and has deployed air defense systems and fighter jets.

The United Arab Emirates also said its consulate in Erbil, northern Iraq, was targeted by a drone, causing damage but no injuries./ CNA
