Ukraine sends anti-drone experts to three Middle Eastern countries

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced that Ukraine is sending experts to the Middle East to share their knowledge on protecting against drone attacks.

This week, three teams will be in Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates, which Zelensky suggested were the first of the countries where Ukraine intends to send experts.

"Absolutely all American experts understand that the Ukrainian experience can help repel massive attacks by Shahed drones today. Even those countries that bought or secretly received interceptor drones have already realized that without our military, without our operators, without our software, without all this, the interceptors simply do not work," Zelensky said. 

Ukraine has extensive experience in shooting down Iranian-made Shahed drones launched by Russia. In recent days, many countries have sought Ukraine's help to defend themselves from the one-way attack drones, amid Iran's retaliatory attacks on US allies in the region. /CNA
