Trump: Decision on ending Iran war will be made with Netanyahu

US President Donald Trump said he would make the decision on the timing of the end of the war against Iran in mutual cooperation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

During a telephone interview with the Israeli media outlet 'The Times of Israel', Trump emphasized that Netanyahu would have a role in resolving the conflict.

"I think it's mutual, more or less. We're talking. I'll make a decision at the right time, but everything will be taken into account," said US President Trump.

Asked whether Israel could continue the conflict even after the United States withdrew, Trump said he did not think that would be necessary.

He also said that US-Israeli cooperation has been important in curbing what he described as Iran's threat to Israel and the region./CNA
