"Rama to be called as a witness for the 'Partizani' file"/ SPAK: The court will make the decision

The next hearing on the "Partizani" case was held today at the Special Court. Regarding the opposition's request to call Prime Minister Edi Rama as a witness in the trial, SPAK has reportedly stated that the court should decide on this.

Meanwhile, the prosecution has also refuted the claims raised by the defense regarding the expert examinations, emphasizing that they were conducted in accordance with the law and relevant procedures. It is reported that the next hearing for this trial has been postponed to April 15, at 10:30. 

The investigations into this file have resulted in the indictment of 8 people, including the leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, and his son-in-law, Jamarbër Malltezi.

Berisha and Malltezi are under the security measure "compulsory appearance". We remind you that the trial on the merits of the "Partizani" file has begun in the Special Court. /CNA
