Rubio: We are not ruling out any military option in Iran

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio told US television Fox News that the United States is fully confident in its ability to strike Iran's fortified nuclear facilities, including the underground Fordow Fuel Enrichment Plant, and confirmed that no military option, including tactical nuclear weapons, has been ruled out.

"The US Air Force has no doubt about the effectiveness of bunker busters in eliminating the Fordow facility," Rubio said.

Nestled deep inside a mountain south of Tehran, Fordow is one of Iran's most protected nuclear sites.

Secretary Marco Rubio issued a stern warning to Tehran, saying any retaliation against the US would be "the worst mistake they have ever made."

"We can fly in and out of Iran at will. They know that and they have to be very careful not to miscalculate," Rubio said. /CNA
