Pse e ka shënjestruar Irani Azerbajxhanin me dronët e tij?

Ndryshe nga shtetet e Gjirit dhe Rajoni i Kurdistanit të Irakut, Azerbajxhani nuk dihet të ketë ndonjë bazë amerikane, duke ngritur pyetjen se pse u sulmua nga dronët e Iranit.

Ky i fundit nuk ka dhënë një arsye për lëshimin e dronëve në një aeroport në rajonin autonom të Nakhçivanit, por një përgjigje mund të qëndrojë në faktin se Azerbajxhani, në kufirin veriperëndimor të Iranit, është një partner i ngushtë strategjik i Izraelit dhe SHBA-së.

Marrëdhëniet midis Azerbajxhanit - një vend laik, por me shumicë myslimane shiite - dhe Izraelit janë thelluar që nga vitet 2000.

Azerbajxhani është një blerës i madh i armëve izraelite, Izraeli importon sasi të konsiderueshme të naftës azere dhe të dy vendet besohet se bashkëpunojnë ngushtë në inteligjencë, veçanërisht në lidhje me mbikëqyrjen e Iranit.
