Osmani dissolves the Assembly, LVV takes the decree to the Constitutional Court

Vetevendosje Movement (LVV) MP Adnan Rrustemi said at a press conference that the party acted in accordance with the Constitution in the procedures for electing the president.

"Today we are on the first day of the 60-day deadline" for electing the president, he said.

"The decree announcing the elections is in complete contradiction with the Constitution of the Republic of Kosovo. We will address the Constitutional Court with a request for an interim measure," he said.

Therefore, according to him, any action resulting from the presidential decree, including the consultative meeting with political parties, is contrary to the Constitution.

Rrustemi expressed his conviction that the Constitutional Court will impose a temporary measure against Osmani's decree, but that it cannot prejudge the process from now on./ Rel
