Memorial to the Martyrs in Istog/Osmani: A Place of Remembrance and a Symbol of Sacrifice

The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, today paid homage in honor of the country's martyrs, on this day that coincides with the Liberation Day of Istog.

Through a post on social media, Osmani shares the message of appreciation for the memorial in Vrellë i Isog, which was inaugurated today, as a place of remembrance and symbol of sacrifice.

"On the Liberation Day of Istog, we bowed with respect to the martyrs of the Kosovo Liberation Army, the most worthy sons and daughters of our nation, who sacrificed themselves for the freedom we enjoy today.

This memorial in Vrellë, Istog, is a place of remembrance, but also the foundation of our state and a symbol of sacrifice that is never forgotten.
