The Foreign Ministry of Albania has announced that as a result of Russian airstrikes this Friday, the building of the Albanian embassy in Kiev was damaged.
"A series of airstrikes by the Russian Federation rocked Kiev on Friday morning, causing extensive damage to several areas in the Ukrainian capital.
As a result of these attacks, the external facade and some spaces inside the building of the embassy of the Republic of Albania in Kiev and the embassies of five other countries were partially damaged, putting the lives of diplomatic personnel at risk. Only material damage is reported.
The Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs unequivocally condemns these brutal attacks. This senseless act is an attack on the foundations of international diplomacy itself. The protection of diplomatic personnel and the inviolability of missions are non-negotiable principles that must be respected and fully implemented", the Foreign Ministry emphasizes./ CNA
