Progress of the operation in Iran/ Hegseth: Very soon we will have complete

US Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has issued a statement to the media from the Pentagon headquarters, sharing details regarding the military operation in Iran.

"I stand before you today with an unmistakable message regarding Operation Epic Fury. America is winning. Resolutely and mercilessly ," Hegseth said.

He said the results over the past four days have been incredible and historic. Hegseth added that US forces have begun to dismantle, destroy and defeat the regime's capabilities.

The secretary went on to say that in less than a week, the US and Israel will have complete control of Iranian skies.

"We will fly day and night, finding and destroying the Iranian military's missile and defense industrial base. Flying over Tehran, flying over Iran, flying over their capital, flying over the IRGC (Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps). Iranian leaders will look up and see only American and Israeli air power. Every minute of every day until we decide it's over. And Iran will not be able to do anything about it," Hegseth said. /CNA
