Months after the end of last year's tourist season, consumption continues to not recover in bars and restaurants and for some food basket products according to businesses. According to the wholesalers, there has been an improvement in consumption for the sugar product, after the price drop in foreign markets.

In the accommodation and food service sector, the most affected by consumption are bars and restaurants. In Tirana, where the highest number of these structures is concentrated compared to years, according to the Association of Bars and Restaurants, consumption has increased by 30%.

Enri Jahja claims that the reason for the decline in consumer power is emigration, mainly family members. In the restaurants of the capital, prices per person continue to remain high, and range from 3,500 to 5,000 ALL.
