Albanians are all of one mind when it comes to opening the files of communism. Asked by Barometer in Euronews Albania, 79.7% of them think that the files should have been opened. Only 9.3% of them answered no and 11% answered I don't know. Meanwhile, 84.3% of Albanians think that people involved with state insurance should have been excluded from any state post, while only 7% said that they should not be excluded.

Interesimin më të madh për hapjen e dosjeve e ka grupmosha 55-64 vjeç me 89.2% pasuar nga grupmosha 65-75 vjeç me 88.8%, grupmosha 25-34 vjeç me 86.6%, 35-44 vjeç 85.1% 45-54 vjeç me 80.7% dhe më pak interes ka grupmosha 18-24 vjeç me 73%.

Ndërkohë, 76.9% e shqiptarëve mendojnë se nuk është vonë për të zbardhur të vërtetat e komunizmit, pas janë shprehur se dosjet duhet të hapen tani. Vetëm 16.1% mendojnë se dosjet tani nuk duhet të hapen.

Tek ata që duan hapjen e dosjeve tani, mbizotëron grup mosha 55-64 vjeç me 81.6% pasuar nga grupmosha 25-34 vjeç me 80.5%, 65-75 vjeç me 78.1%, 35-44 vjeç me 74.8%, 45-54 vjeç me 73.3% dhe 18-24 vjeç me 69.8%.

Por ata që duan hapjen e dosjeve nuk i ndan as ndasia politike, 86.4% e atyre që janë pro hapjes së dosjeve janë votues të së djathtës dhe 71% e tyre janë votues të së majtës.
