The Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Europe and Eurasia, Gabriel Escobar, during an interview for the Voice of America, stated that Albania is turning into an important energy center.
According to Escobar, now that Europe is facing challenges in this sector, a way of cooperation with Albania must be found to mitigate these problems.
Escobar expresses the belief that there are ways and ways that America can help to invest in the energy infrastructure in Albania to realize the goal.
“Shqipëria po kthehet në një qëndër të rëndësishme energjitike. Tani që Evropa po ndeshet me sfida në sektorin energjitik, ne duam të gjejmë rrugë bashkëpunimi me Shqipërinë për të ndihmuar në zbutjen e këtyre problemeve. Kemi bindjen se mund të gjejmë forma dhe rrugë ku Amerika mund të ndihmojë për të investuar në infrastrukturën energjitike në Shqipëri për të realizuar këtë synim”, tha Escobar./ CNA.al
