"Parliament and courts captured"/ Former minister: The opposition

Former minister Aldo Bumçi has accused Prime Minister Edi Rama of being the man who captured the justice system and parliament.

According to Bumçi, we are dealing with a regime whose facade has fallen, where the parliament and the court do what Rama tells them.

The former minister emphasizes that the only institution that can save the country is the opposition by standing up to them.

"This is a regime whose facade has fallen. It is an authoritarian regime, which is fair. There is no justice system here anymore. Issues are increasing, not decreasing. Let's come to politics. Is there an independent system when the courts receive orders from the prime minister. As is the offense he committed against the parliament by taking away the power of immunity. The assembly violated the constitution.

When the court holds the name of the Democratic Party hostage, when did this happen? It was taken from the SP, but it came out of a terrible dictatorship and no one took his name. How does the court keep the issue of our name for 3 years?! Here we have a Parliament that does what Edi Rama says, and a court that does what Rama says. The only institution that can save this country is the opposition.

But it needs people. There is no longer even a facade, Rama is no longer pretending. We cannot follow Rama, but we will stand before him. We cannot accept that he violates the constitution. He takes our name, we change our name? But why are we going to give interviews to him at ERTV?! He is a corrupt dictator. Dictatorship has only one name in Albania, Edi Rama. It has no other value. They are either crutches or worthless," he said./ CNA
