The Prosecutor General, Olsian Çela, emphasized the fight against corruption during his speech at the meeting of the Monitoring Commission of the Council of Europe.
Çela said that corruption is a corrosive phenomenon that requires comprehensive solutions.
He stated that a broad engagement of all instruments available to society and the state is needed through interaction and coordination of measures within a comprehensive strategic approach.
"For its very complex nature, the treatment of this erosive phenomenon for the stability of the democratic system and the economic development of the country requires a multifaceted approach that takes into consideration its typical characteristics as well as the size and nature of the extension.
