Year-end bonus for pensioners approved/Here's how much they will benefit by category

A few weeks before the end of the year, the government has decided to approve the bonus for retirees.

In his speech to the Committee on Legal Affairs and Public Administration, Minister of Finance Petrit Malaj said that the bonus foreseen for this year-end will be distributed according to the previous year's distributions.

"Anyone with a pension of up to 20 thousand lek will receive 15 thousand lek, and anyone with a pension over 20 thousand lek will receive a year-end bonus of 10 thousand lek," said Malaj.

The year-end bonus will be distributed to around 756 thousand pensioners.

According to the distribution schedule, the period when pensioners will receive the bonus will be in December. /CNA
