A concert with popular singers and DJs in "Skënderbej" square yesterday marked the beginning of the United Nations Week in Tirana, the purpose of which is to promote the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, otherwise known as SDGs. West Side Family, Kamela Islamaj, Dj Vin Veli celebrated in the square together with the citizens of Tirana and sang about life, peace, tolerance, eradication of poverty, environmental protection, etc. All these objectives on which Vodafone Albania has also created the "SDG Game", which was launched by the artists at this very concert.

Falë kësaj loje, e cila është integruar në platformën My Vodafone dhe JUTH app, abonentët Vodafone mund të mësojnë më shumë për Objektivat e Zhvillimit të Qendrueshëm teksa njëkohësisht argëtohen e fitojnë shumë çmime. Loja është e ndarë me nivele ku në Nivelin 1 mund të fitohen 500 MB për t’u konsumuar brenda 24 orëve, në Nivelin 2 fitohet 1 GB për t’u konsumuar brenda 7 ditëve, kurse në Nivelin 3 fitohen dhurata simbolike nga United Nations Albania.

Vodafone Albania e ka mbështetur edhe këtë vit Javën e Kombeve të Bashkuara, si një nga kompanitë pionere që i ka përqafuar shumë herët 17 Objektivat e Zhvillimit të Qendrueshëm. Vodafone ka bërë ndër vite shumë projekte dhe investime që ndihmojnë në arritjen e këtyre objektivave.

Për të përmendur disa prej tyre... “Barazia gjinore” është Objektivi 5, një nga më të rëndësishmit për Kombet e Bashkuara dhe Vodafone ka përdorur teknologjinë për t’u ardhur në ndihmë grave viktima të dhunës në familje apo dhunës me bazë gjinore, duke krijuar aplikacionin “Brightsky”, në bashkëpunim po me një agjenci të UN, UN Women. Sa i përket Objektivit 3, “Shëndet dhe mirëqenie”, Vodafone ka investuar vazhdimisht dhe vazhdon të investojë për shëndetësinë nëpërmjet kontratës sociale.

Objective number 4 is the one for "Quality education" and the one that interests young people the most, for whom Vodafone has also created the JUTH platform. Vodafone Albania has contributed to the achievement of this objective, introducing digital education for children aged 12-15, through the "Generation Next Albania" project. Whereas Objective 7, the one for "Unaffordable and clean energy" is one of the objectives where Vodafone has invested more with the #SwitchToGreen agenda.

The 17th and last objective is precisely that of "Partnerships for the objectives" and Vodafone has also contributed to this, thanks to the cooperation with the United Nations and its agencies!/ CNA.al
