A day ago, the Chinese company of "TikTok" requested urgent clarifications from the government regarding the decision to close the platform in Albania.

After that, Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted. Through a post on social networks, Rama said that the decision to block "TikTok" was taken after 1,300 meetings attended by 65,000 parents and after a survey in which over 90% of parents requested the closure of "TikTok".

"GOOD MORNING and with the decision taken from 1300 meetings organized throughout the country by the Ministry of Education, where 65,000 parents participated, as well as from the survey conducted where over 90% of parents requested the closure of access to the Tik Tok platform in Albania, I wish you a peaceful Sunday", writes Rama./ CNA
