Members of the Constitutional Court gather to consider the Veliaj case, here's when the decision could be made

The Constitutional Court convened today at 12:00. The members of the Constitutional Court convened for the case of former mayor Erion Veliaj.

The decision on the former mayor is expected to be issued today or tomorrow. We recall that on October 31, the Constitutional Court held a hearing on Erion Veliaj's appeal. The former mayor himself was present at the hearing where he gave his statements before the Constitutional Court panel.

The session lasted 7 hours, where the Constitutional Court reviewed the appeal of the former mayor arrested on 13 charges and 5 serious criminal offenses, who requested the suspension of President Bajram Begaj's decree on the date of the elections in Tirana./ CNA
