Criminalistics expert Ervin Karamuço, invited to the "Now" show with Erla Mëhilli, spoke about the new director of the State Police, Skënder Hita.

Karamuço said that on two occasions the police chief has drawn his weapon from his belt and confronted crime figures.

One instance of confrontation, according to Karamuço, was when he was leading the Durrës police and another time a long time ago in Fier with a very dangerous exponent of crime.

" Hita has taken out his gun from his belt twice. Once when he was the director of the Durrës police, where a large gang told him you took one of our members and put him in prison, we came to get him out. They went in to get them out. Hita and the deputy directors took out their guns and said go ahead and take them if you want. The office of the Durrës police directorate was filled to capacity.

The second time, a long time ago, in Fier, Hita and a very dangerous exponent of crime both pulled out their guns at each other, "either you or me, the state or crime," Karamuço said.
