Race for the new head of the State Police / No names made public yet from the 14

There is still no name made public for the race for the new head of the State Police. This is because the 48-hour deadline for scoring in the ranking for candidates who passed the interview phase on March 24 ended on Thursday.

According to the procedure, the submission of the list of candidates is carried out 2 days after the end of the interview phase and is passed to the Minister of Interior, so the deadline expired on Thursday at midnight.

Interior Minister Besfort Lamallari is expected to submit a name to the Council of Ministers for appointment.

A total of 14 candidates are running for the leadership of the country's highest ranking institution.

The candidates running are: Afrim Tafa, Alfred Çepe, Arjanit Arap, Elidon Çela, Gentian Berberi, Gentjan Shehaj, Idajet Faskaj, Lorenc Panganika, Neritan Nallbati, Pëllumb Seferi, Rebani Jaupi, Saimir Boshnjaku, Skënder Hita and Tonin Vocaj.
