Cooperation with the US on border security strengthened/ VanHorn visits Rinas

The United States Charge d'Affaires in Albania, Nancy VanHorn, visited Rinas Airport, where she was closely acquainted with the latest investments in the field of security.

During the visit, representatives of the Kastrati Group, under the leadership of entrepreneur Shefqet Kastrati, presented new security control equipment manufactured in the United States of America.

The announcement from the US Embassy in Tirana states that the focus of the meeting was the importance of cooperation with reliable US technology providers, which is helping Albanian companies modernize security infrastructure and strengthen border protection.

This partnership is seen as an important step towards meeting international standards and increasing trust in the country's security systems.

Officials emphasized that such investments not only increase operational efficiency, but also contribute to national security and the further development of the air transport sector in Albania. /CNA
