The head of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, raised accusations this Sunday that the special prosecutor, Olsi Dado, "has released from prison the brother-in-law of Altin Hajri, Julian Gjoshin, who executed Alfred Dedjan today.

Julian Gjoshi's name also appears in the investigations of the Special Prosecutor's Office for the arrested socialist MP, Jurgis Çyrbja, where the latter communicated with Altin Hajri about his release.

SPAK also reacted to Berisha's denunciation, which denied the accusations and stated that Ols Dado has nothing to do with this issue.

CNA has also confirmed this with sources.

CNA inquired at the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana and learned that Ols Dado had nothing to do with the case in question.

Julian Gjoshi was arrested in January 2021 for illegal possession of weapons.

SPAK reacted immediately, rejecting the accusations against the prosecutor Olsi Dado, but in the meantime Sali Berisha, as often, manages to build a false narrative according to his political appetite, using the "digital citizen". It does not take much mind to understand that the "digital citizen" is Sali Berisha himself, his political calculations (and not only), to attack the Special Prosecutor's Office as an institution and special prosecutors who have directly affected the interests of his biological family and political.

The leader of the opposition, if he thinks of instilling trust in the citizens, must be reliable in every accusation he makes, especially for the justice institutions that have recently put the highest government officials behind the wall.

If Sali Berisha really has information that prosecutor Olsi Dado has released a bandit from prison, he should at least show a fact or a document that proves this act. Otherwise, today's accusation and the previous ones for files and special cases are a weak legal and political advocate for the problems that Sali Berisha and his family have with SPAK.

In other words, someone should explain to the DP chairman that his and his family's problems are not solved by attacking SPAK prosecutors, nor by inventing lies. Although, in fact, the truth and Sali Berisha in politics and justice meet very rarely and very briefly./ CNA
