President Bajram Begaj, at the reception organized in the Palace of Brigades, with the art of the 110th anniversary of the Independence of Albania, spoke about the importance of local elections, as well as addressing politics with a call.

" The upcoming local elections are an opportunity to demonstrate cooperation and political and institutional responsibility, for free and democratic elections.

Si President i Republikës, në interes të kombit dhe të ardhmes tonë, ftoj të gjithë aktorët politikë e institucionalë, shoqëri civile e media, çdo shqiptar, që t’i përkushtohemi vizionit për Shqipërinë e gjeneratës tjetër, vendin e projektuar për të qenë anëtare në Bashkimin Evropian.

Po lëmë pas një vit të vështirë. Rruga jonë për ndërtimin e shtetit të së drejtës dhe demokracisë funksionale është një rrugë pa kthim, ashtu si angazhimi ynë për paqen dhe dialogun.

Shqipëria është sot anëtare e denjë e aleancës më të suksesshme në histori, në NATO, me pjesëmarrje aktive në misione në mbështetje të paqes e stabilitetit në rajon e në botë.

Vendi ynë përfaqësohet po aq denjësisht në OKB, si anëtare jo e përhershme në Këshillin e Sigurimit dhe e angazhuar në forume globale.
