Adnan Mahmuti and TIBO Society innocent

After an investigation process that lasted over two years, the Prosecutor's Office at the First Instance Court of General Jurisdiction of Tirana has concluded that there are no elements of the alleged criminal offenses against Adnan Mahmut and the "Tibo" company.

In the official document of the Prosecutor's Office, with criminal proceeding no. 6170, year 2023, sent in the form of a "Notice of Completion of Investigations", the completion of this process and the referral of the case for dismissal to the court are confirmed.

At the conclusion of the investigations, the Prosecutor of the case, Ndini Tavani, with the approval of the Head of the Prosecution, Chief Prosecutor Arens Çela, addressed the court with a request to discontinue the criminal proceedings.

This decision comes after a complete analysis of evidence, documentation and investigative actions did not prove that Adnand Mahmuti had committed the criminal offenses of "fraud", "concealment of income" or "laundering the proceeds of crime".

According to the conclusions of the investigation, the activity carried out by Mahmuti and the entities associated with him was within the framework of existing contractual relationships and commercial collaborations, without any criminal element being identified.

Under these conditions, the Prosecution has concluded that the elements of criminal offenses are missing and has requested the dismissal of the case, definitively acquitting Adnan Mahmuti and the "Tibo" company of all charges brought against them.

This decision definitely reinforces their innocence, closing a long investigative process and restoring legal clarity on their activity./ CNA
